Christmas Trees for a Good Cause Canoeing for Kids

Canoeing For Kids selling Christmas Treees

I love this time of year.  Putting up a Christmas tree is such a great experience.  They are aromatic and look beautiful when decorated.  The only down side to an ordinary Christmas tree is hauling out after Christmas and the 1.5 million needles that it leaves behind.  Well I have been fortunate enough that is not the case in my house.   Imagine putting up a Christmas tree and helping someone at the same time, now that is what Christmas is all about.

Many years ago my family discovered Canoeing for Kids fundraiser.  They bring in Fresh Cut Fraser Fir trees from N.C. and sell them for their non-profit. (http://www.canoeingforkids.org ).  Now I am telling you that they are FRESH.  Go look at them and let me know if I am wrong.    I am strongly recommending this holiday season that you go visit Canoeing for Kids Christmas Trees, you won’t be disappointed.

Now there are many reason I continue to go to visit them year after year.

1-      Great Tree’s (FRESH)

2-      Unbelievable Service and passion to help everyone that visits 100%

3-      My daughter loves the Hot Chocolate they have available.

4-      The money raised for CFK stays in Lexington County.

5-      These trees have my endorsement of Quality and Customer Service

Canoeing for Kids is a volunteer, non-profit organization serving as both a fund raiser and free recreational outlet for disadvantaged children.

Canoeing for Kids’ primary function is to provide free canoeing, kayaking, rafting, camping and fishing trips for underprivileged children. More than Twelve Thousand Kids have benefited from the experience of being “on the water” and “in the woods” over the past eleven years. Teamwork, self-reliance, sense of accomplishment, as well as awareness and conservation of nature is achieved while the kids simply have fun .

Free services are provided to children’s homes, camps for unhealthy, physically and mentally challenged children and any other qualifying group. Adventures are catered to the individual group’s skills and/or limitations.

 Hours are Mon-Fri 11am – 8pm, Sat 8-8pm, Sun 1-8pm
